Choose The Type Of Legal Test You Require
Legal Paternity
Test
A paternity test is a DNA test that helps to establish the biological father of a child. In many cases, paternity tests are used to determine child support and custody arrangements. In this situation, you would require a legal paternity test.
Legal Maternity
Test
Maternity tests are DNA tests that are performed in order to establish the biological mother of a child. These tests can be used in a variety of legal situations, such as child support disputes or custody battles. In this situation, you would require a legal maternity test.
Legal Uncle/Aunt
Test
The uncle/aunt test is a reliable genetic test used to establish biological relationships between an individual and their uncle or aunt. This test is often required in legal situations such as immigration cases, inheritance disputes, or to confirm family ties for custody or legal documentation purposes.
Legal Sibling
Test
The sibling test confirms the biological relationship between siblings. Often used in legal cases like inheritance disputes, custody matters, or immigration, it compares DNA samples to establish a sibling connection.
Y-STR (Male-Lineage)
Test
The Y-STR test analyzes specific markers on the Y chromosome, passed down from father to son. It is commonly used for paternal-lineage testing and paternal ancestry, helping to establish genetic connections within male family lines.
Legal Grandparent
Test
The grandparent test confirms the biological relationship between an individual and their grandparent. Ideal for inheritance claims, family history research, or legal matters, it compares DNA samples to establish direct familial connections.
Indigenous & Métis Certificate of Indian Status
To qualify for a Certificate of Indian Status in Canada, legal paternity, maternity, or other relationship-based DNA tests are sometimes required to confirm your lineage to a person who has already had their Indian status verified.
